Progressive Thinning Hair

Progressive Thinning Hair
ABOUT YOUR SCALP

Progressive thinning hair is a result of the disruption to the hair’s life cycle and the decrease of hair follicles. Hereditary, hormonal hair thinning, generally genetically predetermined, is a shortening of the anagen (growth) phase and often takes up to six months to become noticeable. This type of hair thinning usually follows a pattern, which is different in women and men. Women tend to experience a widening of the part and thinning patches, while men see thinning along the hairline and on the crown of the head.
